What patch?
Microsoft releases patches periodically.
You should be periodically checking and installing all Critical
Updates.
Additionally install the Recommended Updates that apply to you.
Start/All Programs/Windows Update
Or
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Install no more than 4 updates at a time, reboot, then repeat.
