I tried to add a wireless card to allow my son'r computer
to access our in home network and I got a "parity 2"
error on start-up. when I remove the card from the pci
slot the error goes away. How do I fix this.

I'd return the card for a different one on the assumption that it's faulty.
If the second card does the same you may need to look at what version of PCI
card your system supports and what version the add-in card is.
