Hi gang,

I recently downloaded and installed SP2 RC1. The install took my used disk
space from about 24 gigs to almost 30. I'd like to uninstall it, but it's
not listed in my Add/Remove programs. Is there any other way to uninstall
this thing?

Thanks!
Aaron

Simple: Format, install XP, install SP1, install additional patches; skip
installing the Beta releases of things you don't know about.

That is correct, SP2 does NOT appear by default in Add\Remove
Programs. This is one of the new features of SP2, to not list all
SP's/Hotfixes in the Add//Remove Programs. There should be a checkbox
on the Add/Remove Programs screen that allows you to toggle whether or
not patches/hotfixes are displayed (it is not checked by default).
Check the box, and you should see it in Add/Remove Programs.

SP2 can be removed. Like one of the previous posters said you look in
Add - Remove Programs, Check the small box and The Hotfixes will appear.
Then you can uninstall SP2.

No one post that you can remove it through add/remove.

Yes they did.

You go to Add or Remove Programs and check the box at the top that says Show
Updates - it then appears and you can uninstall it.
