Hi All,

I am running Windows XP SP1 with Office XP SP 3.

I recently changed ISP's and now have a problem with Outlook sending emails.
Previously I was not having any problems. Outlook reports that the
connection to the SMTP server times out. Outlook will recieve emails
correctly.

When I created the account in Outlook it appeared to function correctly as I
didn't get any errors under "Test Account Settings". I also created an email
account in Outlook Express and that functions correctly. The account is a
pop account.

I did have AVG7 anti-virus software which I have removed and it didn't make
any difference.

It does seem that Outlook is the culprit but I haven't a clue what to try
next.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Robert
