Using Office 2000 w/SP2, W/XP Home SP2, Gateway laptop & Gateway Desktop,
peer to per network for printing.

On the laptop, Outlook deletes my emails after opening them.
I uninstalled Office 2000, virus checked, scandisked, defraged, and then
reinstalled the program up to SP2. All for nothing. The problem remains.

I checked the EMAIL ADVANCED FUNCTION>ARCHIVE and it is unchecked. What
causes the emails to disappear?

Thnx

EM

Sounds like you have your view set to only show unread items. You can change
your view in the View menu.

Note that Office 2000 had 3 Service Packs and not 2 ;-)
