I have an issue that I could use some direction on. I
have recently upgraded my clients to use Outlook 2002
connecting to an Exchange 5.5 environment. The issue is
that the performance of Outlook 2002 has been
significantly reduced compared to its predecessor,
Outlook 2000 in this environment.

Does anyone have specifications regarding minimum
bandwidth requirements for an Outlook MAPI client in an
Exchange 5.5 environment?

Try turning off the "Instant Messaging"

Open the TOOLS menu
Select OPTIONS...
Select the OTHER tab

Turn off the check mark next to "Enable Instant Messaging
on Microsoft Outlook"
