Outlook 2K - SOME Annual Occurances Appearing Over 2 Days

A while ago (year+?) SOME (but definitely not all) birthdays that were
created via the Contacts\Details tab started showing up as an 'all day' 2-day
event with a clock icon appearing in the event entry to the left of the
person's name ON their actual birthday & a clock icon appearing in the event
entry to the right of the person's name the day AFTER their birthday.

I DO sync with a Palm Pilot & have verified that the DST as well as time &
date settings on both are exactly the same. Regardless, this wouldn't
explain why it happens to some, but not all, birthdays. And note that this
does not occur with anniversaries that were created via the Contacts\Details
tab!

I'm baffled. Any thoughts?

At some point after the items were created the time zone was changed.

And that would affect some, but not all, birthdays?? That just doesn't make
sense...

Regardless, how do I 'reset' the timezone on just those specific occurances
to match the settings of the PC & the Palm?

If the birthdays were created then the time zone changed, those birthdays
would be affected. Newly created birthdays would use the new time zone and
be one day only.

If the time zone tool won't find and fix them, the easiest way to fix them
is one at a time - open each one and make it an all day event from 12-12.
Use the By category view so you can find them easily or just wait and fix
them as they come up.

the easiest way to fix them is one at a time - open each one and make it an
all day event from 12-12
-- This TOTALLY worked! I changed the bday to an 11hr event. Hit Apply,
OK, etc. Reopened the bday, changed it back to a 1 day event & those stupid
little clocks are gone & it's back to only showing up on the 1 day! Oh
HEAVEN! This has been such an annoyance! Thank you so much!
