Hello Gentlemen

I have a user who uses outlook today very often. within outlook today he has
added few public folder's too. the issue is we upgraded outlook 2003 to
outlook 2007, since the upgrade outlook today does not show any updates made
to the public folder's. the unread messages count is always 0. is this how
it is supposed to be..?? is there a fix for it. please let me know.

Thanks

Are the folders in public folder favorites? Did he try removing and
re-adding them?

Yes Ma'am, i have done the following steps.

1) Turn off cached Exchange mode and then tried setting up the public folder
( No go)
2) Added a public folder to my favourites and then added it onto outlook
today (still no go)

I tried the same thing on Outlook 2003 and it works wonders but just not
Outlook 2007. if it helps i have all the microsoft updates for office 2007
even the latest service pack SP2. Please help me find a solution.

It works here, so its not something they broke. Are you using cached mode?
Caching the PF? (I'm using cached mode but not caching the PF.)
