Out of memory exception when drawing menu items

Hi,
I write my own menuitems in order to display pictures and
getting the same look as in the visual studio environment.
Now, just after I reboot the computer everything works
fine. But after a while the framework throws an "out of
memory exception" when I try to display the menus.

This problem seems to be frequent among users, but I have
not seen a solution. I have read one article which claims
that this problem exists in the 1.0 framework, but the
same problem appears in framework 1.1.

Has anyone a solution to this problem?
