1. Capture with MM2 & save as 'WMV file, 'High Quality,
Small' (352x240)
2. Rename the file from 'MyMovie.wmv' to 'MyMovie.asf'
3. Download/install free software 'TMPGenc'
4. Load the 'asf video into TMPGenc
5. Follow instructions to convert 'asf to 'mpg
6. Burn to CD for playback on computer (best pix) or DVD
standalone player (not good pix)
-----------------------------------------
Alternatively, if you also want to do some editing but
don't care for the editor in MM2,complete first 4 steps
above. But step 5, choose to save as an 'avi file.

Then, download and install free software Virtual Dub.
This software has a learning curve due to very limited
built-in Help files, but once understood, you'll find
it's as good, or better, than even the commercial
software out on the marketplace.

FWIW....I like MM2's capturing quality immensely, And, the
'WMV file format produces a file size somewhere around
50% of an 'MPG file. But, cannot be played on all
platforms nor on any standalone DVD players.
