As of yesterday I can't open any .wmv or .mpg attachments in Windows Mail or
anywhere else I just noticed. Using "save as" and saving them as documents
does not work either.
I see this has been covered here since February but no useable solutions
are listed. Does anyone from Microsoft monitor this form? There must be a
cure by now.

If you can't open the saved files outside of Windows Mail, then
it's not a Windows Mail problem. What does Default Programs
show for what's assigned to .wmv and .mpg?

By that I believe you mean what program is set to open these?? If so it says
Windows Media Player.
How have all these other folks resolved this same problem talked about in
this form?

So is the issue that you can't save the attachment, or after
you save the attachment it can't be opened?
