When our users try to go to a server and open a folder
they recieve the error: An unexpected error occured: Not
enough memory available to complete the operation. Close
other programs to make more memory available, and then
try again. I have tried closing all possible
applications and processes that might be running and
still get the message. Has anyone else ever seen this
issue? Thanks,

Hi Coby,

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
3) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
4) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE6

I have tried all of that and it still happens. Does
Frontpage cache files when you try to open a folder from
a server?

occasionally I get that error when frrontpage is attempting to list the files in
the Open FIle dialogue - and often I only have frontpage open - and it still
brings up that "not enough memory" error.

Explain "open a Folder"
FP can only open a FP root web, or a subweb (if the host permits it) on a server running the FP SE or WSS
