I went to open an attachment that I sent myself from work -
- so I know that it is safe. But when I got the prompt
OPEN FILE AS --- I checked the wrong box. And of course,
as the window disappeared I saw the words ALWAYS OPEN THIS
TYPE OF FILE AS ----

So, now I cant open it up any other way than what I
incorrectly checked. Anybody know how to go and change
that OPEN FILE AS menu so that I can open it properly.

An example. From a command prompt;
assoc .zzz=
to remove any file type association from zzz

just click on the file once to select it.
then press the shift button.
keeping the shift button pressed,right click on the file
which u want to open , then an option "open as" would
appear , then u can open the file using any other
application
