Are omega drivers known to over clock by 4% default the video card?

At first i was impress by the result that i got in my 3dmark05 bench
result. So i tough that it was an improvement at first but i wasn't
sure that it was only the drivers that allow that gain so i've check
with Everest and find out that it was over clocked by 4%. And that
whit out installing the ati tool and the second thing that i cant
remember.

So is this normal and could this by a situation that lead to void the
warranty of my card.

The Omega driver itself doesn't overclock, however the Tray Tools
which are included in the driver (written by another third-party) can
be set to automatically load an overclocked profile upon startup, or
when Tray Tools is loaded.

Yes, but you have to set that setting yourself. Unless it was set OC
from the factory (doesn't sound like it) then I am curious to know why
this is too.

I know and this is why i'm talking about that. The only thing that
i've install whit the omega driver is the drivers.

And to Oc the card i should use the ati tray tools.

I suspect that omega driver are for a certains number of card and
leave a side a few video card with is the case for me.
And what it does at installation instead of tell me that my card is
not supported it install the nearest kind of drivers that will fit my
card IE: a x800gto. <-- yep the drivrs was telling me that i own a
gto instead of a regular x800.

My video card is a msi rx800-td 128 mb pci-e.
The original clock is
gpu 390mhz and was oc to 400mhz
mem 351mhzx2 = 702mhz and was oc to 800.

So base on that everyone should check for Oc if they dont want to
performe that kind of mod. Also after installing omega driver if your
experiencing better performance then ask your self why.
