OK What AM2 Motherboard?

As it would appear that not too many people (outside of reviewers on the
Newegg.com site) actually have an Asus M2N-E motherboard, what AM2
motherboard are you using?

Caveat: I don't need/want two PCI-E 16 slots for two video cards. I game
only when the grandkids show up, and they come equipped with their own game
boxes (thank goodness for the front AV ports on the bigscreen!)

I need a board that has specs similar to the M2N-E.

The Asus M2N it lists only has one X16 slot. As for your memory question
it comes down to what you are using your computer for. Memory intensive
apps you will see improvement using the higher bandwidth memory, but
they are really all about the same $$ until you get into performance or
the lower latency memory.

Aside from the Asus 'M2NBP-VM CSM,' AMD has tested and recommends:
ECS RS485M-M
MSI K9AGM-FID and
MSI K9NBPGM2-FID
