My XP installation on a Dell Latitude blank hardrive
misses claims it can't install OEMBIOS.BIN (although it
seems to be on the CD), when skipping Setup stalls at the
end with error code 0x80070002, cannot authenticate. The
registry edits in the MS solution document doesn't work as
the codes to be deleted in the solution haven't been
generated in the first place.

URGENT HELP needed. Thanks so much!!

Using a mild non-ammonia based household cleaner and a
soft cloth, gently clean your Windows XP CD of any fingerprints,
smudges, lipstick, etc.
