When I turn on my computer I get the following:
I/O operation initiated by the registry failed
unrecoverably. The registry could not read in, write out
or flush one of the files that contains the systems image
of the registry.

I can then log on with a temporary profile.

Any help on fixing this?
Thanks!

Go to search at microsoft.com,type:30754
It'll give you details on how to recover from a corrupted registry.
