if you are looking to buy one of these the prices will be falling rapidly over the next few weeks

nvidia's partners have taken their last orders of the 7800 cards, which are going to be replaced shortly.

you can get a standard 7800gt for 190, and it will keep falling until stock runs out.

if they are wont the prices go up ? IIRC the basics of supply and demand

I'm out of bed and dressed, what more do you want?

I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out

One more step to enlightenment ... but which way ?

Not necessarily

With the GPU market advancing as it is they could simply be out of date now in Nvidia eyes anyway.

lol don't bite my head off

the price is going down because apparently the new cards will be faster and cheaper, and they are trying to clear stock and start afresh with the 7900s.
