NTDS KCC Error

I am getting the message below on my Primary DC. Not
getting it on secondary DC. Can't figure it out. Could
use some help. Have checked Sites/Services and all looks
good. Have applied all service packs and patches to rid
the error to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? Get this
coupled with event 1394 and 1311.

Event Type: Information
Event Source: NTDS KCC
Event Category: Knowledge Consistency Checker
Event ID: 1308
Date: 8/22/2004
Time: 3:30:04 PM
User: N/A
Computer: SRV1
Description:
The Directory Service consistency checker has noticed that
2 successive replication attempts with CN=NTDS
Settings,CN=SRV2,CN=Servers,CN=SRV2,CN=Sites,CN=Configurati
on,DC=MYDOMAIN,DC=com have failed over a period of 330
minutes. The connection object for this server will be
kept in place, and new temporary connections will
established to ensure that replication continues. The
Directory Service will continue to retry replication with
CN=NTDS
Settings,CN=SRV2,CN=Servers,CN=SRV2,CN=Sites,CN=Configurati
on,DC=MYDOMAIN,DC=com; once successful the temporary
connection will be removed.

Questions:

1. Do you have a site named "SRV2" (the same as the DC)?
2. Did you introduce any (or this) change(s) recently?
3. How many domain, domain controllers and sites do you have?

Yes Dean, I changed the names for this post but yes I have
two sites 1. Default site with SRV1 in it which is the PDC
emulator (primary DC) and 2. SRV2 site with SRV2 DC. I
have the default connection for the two. I have had this
error for months and the sites and server names have not
changed since they were set up. Don't know why I started
getting this error.
Thank you for the post.

If you manually force replication between the DCs, are you successful??

I don't think so. I get an error message stating it can't
do it now but will try at the next opportunity. Can't
tell to be honest. I only have the errors on the Primary
not on the secondary server. Any ideas?

Have you tried creating a manual connection object?
