This new mail thing is driving me nuts! I want to get my emails without
removing them from the server as I travel a bit and my wife shares the mail
account at home. It was possible in Outlook Express.
Also I want sent emails to stay in the outbox until I decide to mail them.
Anybody has experience with this?

To leave mail on the server
Click on Tools
Click on Accounts
Click on email server
Click On properties
Click on Advanced
Click on Leave Copy on Server

This should work for you

Sharyn answered your first question. As to your second question,
go to Tools, Options, on the Send tab, uncheck "Send messages
immediately." On the General tab, uncheck "Send and receive
messages at startup." You may also have to uncheck the next option,
Check for new messages every xx minutes."

Note that Windows Mail wasn't designed to keep messages in the
Outbox indefinitely. You should probably use the Drafts folder
for that.
