I have recieved a request from gabriella who would like to nominate christopherpostill to the post of Moderator.

I'll second the proposal.

Please leave any comments below.

Vote from me You've made a massive contribution here!

Once the vote count gets up to 10, and all of the current mods have voted, I shall use the power invested in me

OK, I'll be honest about this, I had to think before making a decision cos he be a bit young.

But then I thought 'Flops, don't be an ageist, aging, old git'

Age really don't mean squat, I've met some 15-year-olds with more sense than some 50-year-olds.

So, for this reason:

With pleasure I vote YES to Chris being the super mod.

One condition: He should not compete with me for post count, I will always be huffing and puffing trying to catch up

By the way, thanks for all your nice comments guys. Really kind of you. So when do we get the poll going for a woman moderator as previously suggested in another thread?

good grief christopher, one thing at a time eh? afore we know it there'll be more mods than regular members

but yeah, lady mods work well from what I've seen at other forums, can sometimes sooth savage male brow where other methods may not....

Dear folks

Before anyone even thinks of this (I am sure you won't anyway) I am not in the slightest bit even, ever, remotely able to undertake such a daunting task. But...it might be nice to have some female input somewhere in something or other (but I'm not sure what). Come on female technis - where are u all?
