For some reason, my sound works in all of my windows applicartons
except for games. I cant hear voices in games or music, but the sound
effects work find. Its odd, I ran a DXDIAG as per another post I found
but all of the tests ran fine. Anyone have an idea of what it could
be? Id really appreciate any help you could give.

The games are? Your soundcard is? Your soundcard drivers are?

video and sound drivers. They should be all "DirectX 9."
>One of your games may have Direct X in it. See if you

have DirectX 9 installed after installing that gameIf
not, ask Microsoft to download the 9X.
