Hello. I've tried to create a secure database, using the
wrkgadm and a workgroup file in wich I define the user
accounts and permissions.
The problem is that, although the user "Administrator"
has no permission, when I copy the database to another
PC, with no workgroup file, of corurse there's no users,
but the the database can be read or written.. (?)
It's supposed this couldn't happen, but it happens in my
case..

Any help would be very much appreciated

Hi.

If a user on another computer can use the default workgroup information file
to open the Access database, then you've missed a step when you secured the
database. Read the following Web page to see which step you missed:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...ent/secfaq.asp

HTH.

See http://www.QBuilt.com for all your database needs.
See http://www.Access.QBuilt.com for Microsoft Access tips.

Hi,

You could also check MDBSecure which is based on SeqFaq which will do it all
for you.
