No prompt for password after hibernating

I am sure that I am checking the box in Power Settings that should
prompt me for a password after the machine goes into hibernation.
However, every time it comes back from hibernation, I am not prompted
and the box is unchecked. I have gone in as the administrator and
checked the box then immediately shut down but it still unchecks the
box.

Can anyone help me out???

Thanks
FJ
