I have designed and am currently updating several sites which are located on
various servers. I use FrontPage 2003. When connecting to the host server to
publish sites, FrontPage gives me the option to "Remember my password" on all
sites I work on, except one. For this one site, I am always prompted for the
User Name and Password. There is no option to "Remember my password"
available.

The server admin of the offending site tells me this relates to a setting
for this site in FrontPage, although I can't find it. By the way, I have two
other sites that he also hosts, and am able to "Remember my password" in both
of those.

This isn't a debilitating problem, but it's very annoying. Does anyone know
how I can make FrontPage "remember my password" when connecting to the
server to publish?

I appreciate any advice provided!

Jo

This would be controlled on the server, not your local machine. I have the same issue with a site as
well for my host.

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact

If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Thomas,

Thank you for your very timely response. I will email this thread to the
server admin. Since he apparently doesn't have a policy to do this with all
sites he hosts, perhaps he will make the effort to change that setting for me.

Best regards,
Jo
