FOR SOME DAYS ( ~WEEK) I DO NOT GET AUTO UPDATES FOR DEFENDER VIA WU.
ALL OTHERS WU ARE FINE. ALSO WHEN TRY TO UPDATE VIA DEFENDER IT SELF-IT SAY
THERE ARE NO AVAILELE UPDATES. (I DO NOT GET ANY ERROR MASSEGE)

I CAN ONLY UPDATE MANUALLY FROM DEFENDER SITE (11 MEGA FILE)
I SAW SOME PEOPLE HAD\HAVE THE SIMILLAR PROBLEM-SO I'D LIKE TO ASK:
1-DOES ANYBODY HAS THE SAME PROBLEM NOW IN THE LAST DAYS?
2-HOW TO FIX IT?

JUST TO ADD: after using LAN (and not wireless as before) internet, i do not
get any words like "fatal" or "warnings" in the log file.
BUT still can not get auto. defender updtas...

Those errors typically indicate a firewall or proxy issue. What server are
you connecting to? Any chance you are in a setting where there is an
in-house WSUS server your machine is configured to connect to?

i conect directly to WU server.
anyway my log is fine now.

still no auto. updates for some days....
-do you/others have simillar problem?
-is it normal not to have updates for some days?

Assuming you were current as of yesterday as a result of downloading from
the portal on or since Monday ....

Do Not Download from the portal
Do Not use the Delta Update Link
Do Not use Check for Updates in the program's GUI.

Make sure Automatic Updates is set to One of the Install or Inform options
WAIT
Automatic Updates checks for updates about once every 24 hours, give or
take, so it could in theory take a full day to go by to find today's update
if it was "pushed" out just after you AU checked.

IF on the other hand, you want to check the WU/MU site, to see if it offers
you the update, you should turn off AU, and go to the WU/MU and do an express
check [Anytime after you read this post should be fine]. Don't forget to
turn AU back on if that is your normal state.

Also, before you do anything else, check your definition version Now, in
case you may have already gotten today's an not realized it, Definition
Version: 1.65.848.0 was pushed out this morning.

Oh, and the norm for the "pushed updates" [AU/WU/MU, Check thru program GUI]
is twice a week, usually Monday's and Thursday's.
