First question is what is the SQL and how does this relate to BCM? I have
installed BCM and when windows start, I get the little icon in my system tray
but it says its not connected. Is it supposed to be connected to something?
Will disabling the SQL in my startup effect BCM?

Also, I have a 1.4 Athlon, 512mb, 80gig computer and Outlook now loads up
slow ever since I installed BCM, is this normal?

And lastly, I need to print out a business contact but I don't need all of
the info on it and there does not seem to be a way to customize it (i.e., I
do not need to see the record details when I am printing out the client (when
I modified it or the name of my computer)). Any solution to this. Thanks

SQL is the database BCM uses to store everything in, so yes you shouldn't
disable it in startup.

BCM 2003 - MSDE database engine
There is a maximum database size limit on BCM. That limit is 2Gb for MSDE.
You can lift that limit with a full version of SQL.

BCM Beta 2007 - SQL Express database engine
BCM 3's database is called COMPUTERNAME\MSSMLBIZ.
