Well i finally got round to fitting the cables and lights i got from Overclockers

Couldn't decide where to fit them at first but i think it looks good as it is. I can always move them if i change my mind.

Sorry about the quality of the last one.

How are you lighting it all, is that a UV CCFL running down next to the mobo?

Yes, one running up on the right side of the MB, attached to the back of the case and one running along the bottom of the case hidden from view.

7th one down here

My plan was that i wanted to hide the lights themselves and just see the glow off the cables.

Thanks to Flops for the inspiration of putting the switch and the fan controller in the floppy drive bay.

Very nice!

Theres a neat trick you can do where you run a cathode behind the motherboard tray and the light seeps out but you cant see the source... You just take the other door off and tape it in place and close it again, and run the wires carefully.

EVGA 680SLi Motherboard, Intel E6600 LGA775 3.4GHz OC'd, ATI Radeon HD 5850 1024Mb, 4Gb Corsair XMS C4 2x Matched Pairs, Samsung Spinpoint's 740Gb RAID 0 SATAII, Antec Three Hundred Case, Windows 7 Home Premium.

Do you have your floppy drive cable in the wrong way round

Cheers for the compliment.

That sounds like a good idea but i dont know if i fancy trying it!

I got some of those UV protective covers for the PCI and RAM slots. But i haven't got the RAM one in yet, and the graphics cards so fat you can only just see the PCI ones! See the first picture.

Ha ha you noticed then, i haven't had the chance to swap it just yet. But yeah the light stays on....
