Hi all. I run a business from home and have a home network consisting of 5
disktops and 3 laptops-mixture of NT 4, 2000, and XP. I was getting tired of
either running to different computers to look at this or that file or making
sure that I copied everything to 1 central computer and mapping a drive
there, so I got 2000 advanced server and want to set up roaming profiles so
that no matter which computer I log in to, I see all the same things. Is
there anything I should keep an eye out for when I upgrade? Also, can I copy
one of my local profiles to the server and use it as the starting point for
my new roaming profile instead of copying all the documents and other files
over? Are there any major problems running 2000 server with such a mixture
of OS's? Big thanks in advance.
