Set the FSB to 166MHz.

ok kewl

First what motherboard are you using?
In the manual does it give the maximum CPU the motherboard will support?
At the mother boards manufacturers wen site there will be a bios update file(if applicable)
Possibly at their download site for your product if its needed for supportinf high CPU speeds.
In the CMOS/BIOS setup routine (at startup before windows loads) hit DEL to enter setup(maybe different keystroke)
Consult your manual on the 'auto' settings Vs manual settings for voltages and clock speeds.

You can tell what it is currently configured at boot up. The display should
post what it is. You can then hit Del at boot up to go into bios and change
the bus setting if it is not at what you think it should be. That should up
the processor speed.

Reset the FSB to 133MHz FSB. Or 166, if it's at 133 already.

(Make that 266 and 333, if that's what your BIOS says).

Set the EXTERNAL CLOCK to 166MHz, I think he would want 333MHz FSB.

It's a 333MHz FSB like Intel's new P4s are 800MHz FSB.

That is, only in the dreams of the marketting guys.
