Hi all,

New Home-PC.

I am having troubles deciding on what motherboard to go for.

This what I can confirm so far;

1. Coolermaster ATC-200B Transparent P4 MIDI Tower Case
2. Intel Pentium IV 2.667GHz 478Pin 512K Cache 533MHz FSB Processor
3. Motherboard???/
4. Gainward GeForce4 PowerPack! Ultra/650-8X TV/DVI /
AGP 128MB DDR Ti-4200 8x chipset with TV-out and dual CRT or CRT+DVI output
5. 1GB DDR RAM (depends on the mainboard)

Stuck on a P4 based mother board that has good reviews all round.

My preferences r that it has 5 pci slots, 4or8xAGP, On-board thermal
sensors, no onboard sound of graphics.

A list of motherboards would be nice so i can source them out and get prices
back from the trade accounts.

Many thx

You might want to try a MOTHERBOARD review web site. This NG is for
resolving issues AFTER you load Windows 2000 on whatever it is you
decide to buy. :-)
