I've just noticed new Windows XP / 2000 - Unified Drivers, version: 3.13
(release date: November 3, 2003) on the nVidia website. See:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_udp_winxp_3.13

This new release includes new IDE drivers. Since they've had problems with
previous versions, I'd be interested in the experiences of anyone who's
tried these.

I just put them on and things still seem to be working, although my
InCD icon now has a red exclamation mark on it, and in device manager
I have a microcode update device with an exclamation mark. Hmmm.

Which motherboard are you using? I don't recall seeing a microcode update
device listed on mine. I have the Asus A7N8X-Dlx using an AMD XP2400+
processor.

Never mind... I found it. That's sort of scary. Have you found a fix for
it?

I don't even know what it is so I don't know if I should be scared or
not!

I just installed the drivers and had no problems at all with Windows XP
(sp1). Everything seems to be working, but haven't had a chance to try
everything yet.

I've just installed the drivers but not installed the IDE SW drivers (I had
problems with the last one) and Device Manager is clear of problems.
