Buy a home broadband WiFi router from Linksys or any of the usual
suspects. RTFM, plug your XP machines in and go. For your printer you
have two or three ways to go;
- Buy a router that has a printer interface (parallel or USB)
and plug the printer.
- Buy a print server for your printer. This will have a plug for your
printer and an ethernet jack. There is also a WiFi version that will
eliminate the need for a cable.

Don't blame me. I voted for Gore. Proudly then, even more so in hindsight.
