I have a LinkSys Instant Wireless USB Network Adapter
ver.2.6. Seems to work fine with the drivers from
LinkSys. I was notified of updated drivers via Windows
Update, updated, and the device stopped working. This is
a fairly new/common device, running on a recent Dell.
Seems like a common combo.
Anyway, I rolled back the driver, and now it works again.
I tried to find a way to report a bug, to no avail.
I figure if Microsoft releases a buggy driver through
Windows Update, then they might want to know about it.
There should be a simple way to report this.
BTW, the driver update that will not work is:
"The Linksys Group, Inc. network software update released
on April 17 2003", for whatever that's worth.
