I have upgraded a computer for a friend. The machine had
Windows XP Pro purchased seperatly installed before we
did the upgrade. The upgrade consisted of replacing the
motherboard/CPU/memory. Once this was completed I had a
lot of trouble getting the machine to boot, but
eventually ran the windowsXP recovery console, and that
was able to get the machine into working order. At this
time everything seemed good to go. About 30 days later I
got a call that she was locked out and that the system
was saying she had to activate XP. This is where we are
stuck, as I have a Windows XP activation code for the XP
version she purchased the only problem is I cannot get
the Activation Wizard to show up. When I type
in "oobe/msoobe /a" nothing happens.

Any help will be appreciated as we really need to get
this working.

Thanks
Matt
