Hello,

My PC has XP pro installed.

I want to replace the C: hard drive with a much bigger one. (The current
c: drive will be reformatted blank and used on my nephews PC. so there's
no licensing problems.)

I really don't want to re-install from scratch.

Could someone please tell me how to copy the existing contents of the
current C: drive to a new, larger c: drive and make it bootable as well?

Many thanks,

You're new drive will(should) come with a disk copy program that copies your
old drive to the new. Always backup important things, just in case.

You may want to try a program called "Drive Image". It has a function for
duplicating a HD when installing new. It is also handy for storing a backup
image of your HD in case of catastrophy. Cheers.
