I'm having hard times networking xp and 2000 pro, my
problem is only that my xp machine cant see my files on
the 2000 pro machine, i've tried to do that network setup
on xp where at the end it says insert the cd or setup
disk in the 2000 pro machine well that setup doesnt work
for 2000 professional. I'm able to ping from both
machines and i can see my xp machine from 2000 pro but
from xp cant see 2000 pro. So i figure it has to do with
that network setup cd thing. I have firewalls but there
access is premitted for both machines, the machines ip
network address is the same its in the same workgroup as
well

Take down your firewalls one at a time and see if this
fixes the problem. That is most likely your problem.
