A little more detail here might help. Does your office network have a domain or
workgroup? Is the computer in question a member of the same domain or
workgroup?

If you have a domain in the office, you're out of luck. XP Home computers can't
join a domain.

We can help you identify the problem, if you provide some details. Identify two
computers in the office with no problem, and your XP Home computer. Provide
"browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" for all 3 computers. Read this article,
