I am trying to share an ADSL USB modem across my peer-
peer, BNC cabled network of two machines running on NE2000
compatible cards.

I have followed Knowledge Base Article - 237254 but I am
not able to connect from the other machine.

Should I see anything from the slave m/c such as the modem
or any other sign that the connection is available.

I have tried setting up the slave using IE 6 'Connection
Setup, option 3 'Connection via Local Area Network' and I
have also disabled my firewall.

Does anyone have some suggestions.

Try a proper modem, not an USB.
