I have 2 computers networked at home - a desktop (windows xp home sp2) and a
laptop (windows xp pro sp2) . The desktop needed a new motherboard and power
supply, and in the process, xp needed re-registering. In the process, the
network settings have been mucked up. (limited or no connectivity between the
2 computers), while the internet connection isn't happening at all (10mp
instead of 1.5mb). I had 2 networks happening - 1 for the 2 computers, and 1
for the internet connection. Now I have 5, and none of them work properly.
The internet connection is an ADSL modem via USB port. Does anyone have any
suggestions on how to fix the connections, or on how to disable or delete the
connections so that I can start again?
