Hi,

I've installed QuickBook on a workstation and when I try to run it says
"User must be poweruser or Amdin"

how can I change a user from what it is to Poweruser? should it be done
on server or workstation?

Sorry I'm new to the networking.

Thanks

It can be done by adding user to PowerUser(recommended) or Administrator
groups.
Where to be done depends where the users reside if it is P2P network locally
if is Client/Server on the server(probably you need to ask an admin to do
it)

The user needs to be an admin on the workstation and have read and modify
permissions on the server share.

Right-click My Network Places, select manage. Expand "Local Users And
Groups" in the left pane, then click "Groups". Double click "Administrators"
in the right pane. Click "Add" and add the user to that group.
