Net Use for Printing

I am attempting to use the Net Use LPT1 \\Servername\ShareName so I can
print from a mainframe application which requires LPT1. When I enter the
net use command, it asks me for a username and password for the server and
after I enter the credentials, it gives me an access denied (for a
non-administrator). Is there something that needs to be set on the server
to allow this?

Usiing Windows Server 2003 & AD.

Make your users a local admin on the machine that requires the mapping.

User cannot access physical devices use LPT2 for users. This is a security
restriction added in XP and above.

If the application can only access LPT1 disable the LPT port in the system
bios.
