Hi all,
I have been using my writemaster TSSTcorp cd/dvdw ts-h552b for about a year without a problem with nero but recently i started to get failed discs, it seems the "Used read buffer" drops to zero often which ruins the disc, even when burning at 2.4X.
Can anybody help?

P.S. i havn't updated to sp2, and havn't updated anything else recently.
cheers.

check the nero site for updates

edit: couple of things from the CD burning forums on the net,

1. Defragment the hard drive
2. Ensure that both the HD and the writer are in DMA mode
3. Avoid putting any additional load on the system while burning

One more step to enlightenment ... but which way ?

Aye, update Nero, update XP. And maybe update DVDRW firmware.
