i have got around £700 to spend on a pc. Maybe more. I've got monitor keyboard ect so this is just for the main tower.

i want to play games on it, it has to have good memory and a good processor alot of usb ports and firewire. futureproof and easily upgradeable.

any ideas?

Are you looking to build it yourself?

If you going to do it yourself then i would go for:

Mainboard, CPU and Memory = £360
PSU (the bottom one) = £50
200Gig Maxtor S-ATA = £70
Coolermaster Case = £32
6600GT Graphics Card = £145

Then spend the rest on a floppy drive and a cd/dvd drive.

If you dont want to build youself:
