Hello, I need some help..... I have windows XP home Ed. and a Maxtor hard
drive. On the hard drive I have only one partition. I would like to delete
everything and start installing windows on it again. I tried to format the
drive through the propties for the C:drive it would not let me do it. Does
anyone have Ideas how I can do this? Thank 4 all the help.

Insert the retail CD into the tray. When the window pops up, exit. Reboot
your computer. Look for a sentence during boot that says: "To boot from CD
press any key". Press a key. Follow the directions. You can reformat during
the reinstall.
