- Look carefully at all 6 sides of the fax machine (top, bottom, left,
right, front, and back). You will almost certainly find the name of the
company that made the machine (e.g., Canon, Ricoh, HP, Brother, etc.).
- Look carefully, and you will also find the model designation of your
machine.
- Armed with these two pieces of information, go to the web site of the
manuracturers (almost certainly at
www.[name of company].com).
- Search for the User Guide for your model on the manufacturer's web site.
- Download the User Guide to your computer and save it where you can
find it later. For example, save it in "My Documents."
- Read the User Guide.
