I did (what was supposed to be) a non-destructive system restore and when the computer rebooted, it gave me the message "NDLTR is compressed". Cntrl Alt Del to restart. But each time I Cntrl Alt Del, it takes me to the HP blue screen with the F1 and F10 messages at the bottom, but then straight back to the NDLTR message.

Can anybody help, please?

sounds like its corrupted, you'll need to restore the MBR using the XP CD

I'm out of bed and dressed, what more do you want?

I always take life with a grain of salt, ... a slice of lemon, ...and a shot of tequila

I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out

One more step to enlightenment ... but which way ?
