NAV 2004 error

I have windows 98 on a Compaq Presario 2282 upgraded internet explorer to
I.e. 6

The problem is when NAV installs I get an error, I have followed all
procedures setout by Symantec on their website & have contacted them but
they are yet to get back to me, I have even performed a full system recovery
using the Compaq cd & after recover removed the Compaq diagnostics

the error is a 3030,26

NAV has encountered an internal program error... 3030,26 (after installing
NAV 2004)
