How do I re-record narrations without erasing already
recorded narrations that I don't want to re-record?

Go to the particular slide for which you want to re-record your narration -
choose Slide Show | Record Narration.

Record the narration for that slide and press Escape - remember never press
the spacebar! Do each slide separately so that you don't go to another slide
by mistake.
