My user account now appears as " Unknown User". Can I get it back?

I swear I will not do it again

Hi
Trying to connect my laptop that I use for work to my home
LAN I entered the " Network ID" wizard under "Network
Identification". I started setting up a home user and then
canceled it. To make sure (...) I started it again and
tried to set up a company user.
End result is that I can only login as Administrator and
my previous user account (that I can in "User profiles")
is "Unknown User" .
Is there a way to restore it to the previous name without
having to create a new user and migrating the files etc?
Thanks if anybody can help
I will never fo it again...

Disjoining the domain destroyed the client/ domain trust. You'll need to
physically reconnect to the domain and rejoin it to the domain. You can
logon locally with any valid local account. The cached domain account
information is no longer available. Ask the systems administrator to rejoin
the pc back to the domain.

Thanks Dave
I was afraid that would be the case. My IT guy is
traveling until Friday. I will have to make do with a one-
legged account until then....
Thanks a bunch
